Delicious and traditional. Cheers to Pie Season!
Ingredients:
- 9-inch pie (make/buy)
- 1 can Pumpkin Puree
- 1 can 12 oz evaporated milk
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup of dark brown sugar
- 2 t cinnamon
- 1/4 t nutmeg
- 1 t ginger
- 1/4 t cloves
- 1/2 t salt
Directions:
- Preheat oven
- Whisk together all the ingredients into a smooth batter, set aside.
- Put pie dough into 9 inch pie pan, put the batter into the pie and cook for 15 minutes
- reduce the oven to 350 and cook for another 35-40 minutes or until center is set.
- Refrigerate the pie until serving.
